Rhön-Montage Fernmeldebau was founded in 1970. Until 1990, the company worked exclusively for Deutsche Telekom
as a telecom construction company, taking care of project and construction management for copper and fibre optic cable network
installations and carrying out overhead line construction and in-house installation work.
With the liberalisation of the telecommunications market, Rhön-Montage expanded its range of services to include the provision of
turnkey telecommunication networks. Further activities include planning and implementation of mobile phone transmitter locations,
broadband cable installation and measurement, and the installation of data networks.
Rhön-Montage has more than 100 qualified employees.
